the one in middle school.

tonight. my dad and i attended a wake forest basketball game. we have been going to these games since tim duncan was a senior at wfu. we love college sports. we love wake forest.

so again, dad and i went to a game tonight. it when i was there i thought about my middle school years, and just absolutely loving coming to the games. i loved buying those $4 gummy bears (&& only eating the red and orange ones). i loved watching tim duncan, chris paul, josh howard in their prime before going pro. i loved the fight songs and slow claps. i loved the random assortments of gold & black. overall. it was amazing, and tonight i realized how much i missed these games.

so it got me thinking... about things i really miss during my middle school years.
the years of awkwardness, abercrombie&fitch, & super straight hair (every.single.day).

i also miss...

scrunchies.

save by the bell.
(i was obsessed zac).

my green nitendo 64.

&& i was always, always, always princess peach.

also, there was these things called boy bands.
that made me completely boy crazy.

jamming out to my fellas, nsync.

&& in 3rd grade i went to see these boys in concert.
i was definitely a backstreet boy's girl.

&& last but definitely not least.
chunky computers.
they had the best games like oregon trail & wheel of fortune.

there is so much more. like graphic tee's & sequin belts. tiny purses & old school rap. even stevens & kim possible. rolling houses & dance parties. sperrys & braces. the list is forever long.

tonight was such a sweet reminder of life back in the more simpler days...

... and of how much i still love wake forest (even if i do got to state). :)
