She is such a good friend of mine (&& turns out, she is Sam's sister!)

Sid & I are insanely similar.  We both love the same things and DO the same things.

I love her so much.  She has such a good heart & so much fun to be around!

Church was great this morning.

Lunch with Sam's parents and my roommate to celebrate Sidney's birthday was wonderful.

But now it's time to get lazy...

Immediately after getting back in my dorm,  I put on my favorite pajama pants.

 && now I plan on watching VCU do some Cinderella magic on Kansas...

& start thumbing my way through a couple of chapters in this book.

I love Sunday's. :)

the one to breakaway with sam.

I am terrible at adding fun into stressful weeks.  I usually have my fun AFTER the stressful week, but throughout it - I have awful stress levels.  Migraines break out, I get unmotivated, Im exhausted 24/7.  I guess I never realized this until collage - but my mom has been encouraging me to add more non-stressing activities into the grinding weeks. 

 So I took her advice.

Sam & I got up early last Saturday morning.  We woke up to an incredible Raleigh sky + skyline - & said fair well to our temporary hometown.

&& we headed out.. to the beach.

One of the best ideas ever!  We just got up packed a bag & a cooler for lunch & spent the entire day at the beach! :)

I made a couple collages because I like the huge picture look, especially with my new camera.. so I thought I would condense the pictures into a couple frames!  So instead of writing my day off for Saturday for zero homework.  I brought some Cognitive Psych with me as my reading material!  So not only was it a wonderful day soaking in some rays, but it was also productive!

It truly was amazing.  && instead of calling this a one time thing.  We invested.  We invested in real cute beach chairs.  So knowing Sam & his frugal self.. if he made that investment (for himself), he's in for more trips!  YES!! :):)


Don't have any major plans all day long except for gym, multiple episodes of Grey's, supper with one of my YL girls, & seeing Limitless with Sam.  Although it won't be as good as the beach... Im thrilled for a relaxing day!  Have a wonderful Friday!

What I absolutely love about my relationship with these girls - we are brutally honest with each other.  We tell each other what needs to be said & not always what we want to hear.  && that's what true friends do.  They bring you down when your high on your horse and they build you up when you can't seem to get on.  These girls love like crazy & for that I love them like my sisters.

ohh, & did I mention they love their Lord? 

or did I mention they are sassiest, most precious, craziest people ever?

I am falling in love with these boys.

He is imitating "my best friend guy".

This weekend Meredith College had a "Little Friend's Weekend" where Sarah (the other sitter - in pink shirt) hosted John and Will's presence.  They had a complete blast!  When I got there they were in the middle of a dance party -- & they went non stop until bed time!  It was completely precious! :)

Sarah and I are learning new things every day.. not just about them but about tools vital for our future lives.  Patience, loving well, bargaining, healthy living, leggo-loving... etc.

It's been an unreal journey thus far.  But I love them & Im so blessed to have them in my life.

Heather and Emily went to a book organization/sale thing (where they scan books and get paid lots of dough :) ) in Wilmington this weekend.  They saw an small, antique bible and prayer book and thought of me and Sarah!  Seriously, how sweet are they?

It is amazing.  I love my little bible.

Sarah and I have really wonderful people in our lives.  It's so awesome to have someone think of you when they see something that you may like.. not only think of you - but buy it too!

This week back from spring has been a whirlwind of emotions.  Happy to see everyone.  Sad to see test emerge.  Confused as to why adjusting can be so dagum difficult.  Excited to see what the weekend brings.  Stressful because of physics.  Satisfied to see my gorgeous view of downtown Raleigh.  I could go on forever but I have Cognitive Psych to head to in a little bit. 

So I personally think my sister should do a how to in making camera straps.  She is so talented with her little sewing machine.. I told her exactly what I wanted and she definitely delivered!  I set out to "help" but I ended up just taking all of the pictures. :)

For real, yall.. how cute is it??  She did such a good job.  Im so proud of her! 

Now, to relive stress I thought I would post about another mini-softball reunion that I had over spring break.  A couple of us girls who grew up together on the diamond get together every chance we get...  I mean after all we did spent the night with each other every weekend from ages 8-16.  We are sisters & we adore each other.  

We just talked, messed around, && snacked.

We played taboo.. with the slightest amount of sarcasm. 

&& laughed for hours about this picture:

Watched a movie.. stayed up late.. woke up early to enjoy a staple in our relationship:

I absolutely love these girls.  I can't wait to have another reunion soon!
