most of the time, when it's time to blog... i have a bunch of story or adventures i wanna tell yall & i usually do it all at the same time resulting in an annoyingly long post, like this annoyingly long run-on sentence. for all of that, i am so sorry.
there are a couple of blogs that inspire me daily (inspiring as in updates on blogs, new techniques, abstract pictures, topics to blog about, etc, etc.). these blogs are faithful, usually updated everyday & i love it! so instead of telling yall about all adventures of these past couple of days, i will separate them.. in hopes to create anticipation for you.. or maybe not.. i only know of a few faithful readers. :)
anyways. BLOG TIME!
sam and i have a staple restaurant for date nights. however, i like the non-chain, hole-in-the-wall places, "found it in a nook or cranny" treasure places. & sam likes what he knows, and what is habit. so when he is his turn to choose, or when i can't decide between four or five restaurants in downtown.. we choose our ever dependable,
i mean it's good. decently priced. & had the BEST chips and salsa known to man.
sam and i don't even care about the drink order, we make sure the chips & salsa come first. ahh. we polished off two baskets before our actual supper came to the table. full? absolutely. worth it? every grain of salt. we even got some to-go! needless to say, we are obsessed.
(p.s. i don't if sam was sleepy, or in a deep lustful thought of his salsa.)
later on, we headed to the "dolla-fiddy" movie theater to see due date. terrible language, but hilarious. we cracked up the entire movie.
it was, yet another, successful date night with sam. but next time it's my choice.. maybe sam will be up for some lebanese food for this cute little place in downtown raleigh called, sitti. maybe he doesn't have to know until we get there?? that's a better plan!
okay. new post tomorrow morning! dealing with either more days of suitika or ice skating experience...
i'll decide after "it takes two" by rob base & dj ez rock goes off itunes.. ohh, you wanna listen too?

ReplyDeleteI think the surprise date will be your best bet for sam coloring outside of the box. Though... Im not to sure if Lebanese food is the best choice for the first date.....second maybe! But I mean you want him to let you choose again! ha.

ReplyDeleteJordan ate there with me - maybe that will help a little? But, he was a little weirded out by the community table - where you could sit at the same table with people you don't know. We ended up getting a table for just us and our friends - wouldn't want to do too many new things all in one night!
