the one on the big boat, day three.

Okay, so day three.  I loved day three.  One obvious reason was to be able to get off that boat!  But on this day we got up and were off the boat by 9 into the lovely city of Nassau.  Nassau was busy, fun, exciting, and enriching.

First stop, well if half of the group is females... where do you think we went?

Yes, shopping.

 The straw market was really cool, in that it was dripping in culture.  Beading, straw bags-hats-you name it, wood sculptures, all of it..

In Nassau.. we found some love.

 && cute wall paintings like this:

 Around lunch time, the group split in half.  Some of us wanted to stay and continue to explore the city, while some of us wanted to head back to the boat for lunch and laying around.

I was in the group that continued to explore.  && we stumbled upon this sweet little dock that quickly distracted us from our growling stomachs.

Atlantis!

Then we stumbled upon this really old library!  Unfortunately, we were not allowed to take pictures of the amazing inside of it.. but we loved it none the less!

After a couple more hours, we headed back to the boat for a super late lunch!  After that we went to our cabins, put on some comfy clothes, grab some cups of coffee and headed out to the deck to watch our boat deport.

 && we bid thee well.

 && thee bid right back.

 For supper, it was Captain's Night.. aka Formal Night.

 Where we ate delicious lobster & shrimp as our main.. and bitter & blanc pudding for dessert!

It was a happy, happy day in Nassau.
